Abigail Dow has had her share of troublesome clients, but nothing has prepared her for Mason Bryce. Aloof and elusive, his distrust for magicians runs nearly as deep as her distaste for spoiled aristocrats. Nevertheless, she's been charged with saving his inheritance, Bryce Manor, from seizure by the Magician's Council. The infamous estate houses a large collection of dubiously purchased artifacts the magical community would like back.
Unbeknownst to Abigail and Mr. Bryce, the artifacts bury a mountain of secrets: for example, the Bryce family's rise to power.
When an unknown force traps Abigail and Mr. Bryce on the other side of an antique mirror, it's up to Abigail to uncover the secrets that trapped them there. Only discovering the mirror's true function will allow them a chance to escape - assuming Abigail and Mr. Bryce can cooperate enough to find their way home.
